PIZZA FEST

ROTARY HOSTS PIZZA FEST OF BUFFALO GROVE

You don’t have to cook Wednesday, May 4 thanks to the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove. Grab the family and go to the Pizza Fest at Buffalo Grove High School from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Admission is only $2. Each slice of pizza is only $2 and any drink is only $1.

You will enjoy many varieties of America’s favorite food thanks to participating local pizza establishments including Lou Malnati’s, Wa-Pa-Ghetti’s, Domino’s, Mugs, Culver's and more. Rotary appreciates the contribution these businesses and Culver's (dessert $2) are offering to help Rotary in their mission.

During this benefit, Rotary will be collecting the non-perishable food items you bring to help stock up the Wheeling Food Pantry and Kingswood Food Pantry in Buffalo Grove. Rotary clubs work hard with other groups to keep shelves stocked since demand for food by families in need has greatly increased.

Plan to see your friends and neighbors on May 4th at the Rotary Pizza Fest. You will be supporting many needing programs to which Rotary contributes. For more information, go to www.BGRotary.org.

Rotary is the world’s first and largest service organization whose members form a global network of business, professional, and community leaders volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world. Rotary is not a business networking organization. Rotarians focus on 'Service above Self' as a commitment toward bettering the world around them. Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful humanitarian service projects characterize Rotary worldwide. Rotary International is working to eradicate polio, end poverty, and promote world peace and cultural understanding.

Buffalo Grove Rotary supports many local charities and community initiatives including hunger relief, safety programs, Special Olympics, park improvements, school programs, and student exchanges. Beyond their local efforts, its members have travelled to global service projects that include providing fresh water in Africa, development projects for schools in the Guatemalan jungle, and immunization efforts to eradicate polio in India and Nigeria.
